HAWK BALL 2024

SAVE THE DATE: Friday, January 26th

6:00 pm – 10:00 pm

at LA VENTURE GROVES

If you attended our Inaugural Hawk Ball last year, you know EXACTLY why this is an evening you don’t want to miss! That’s not marketing jargon. That is what our coaches, parents, neighbors and friends said after leaving last year’s event! It was a HISTORICAL night and this year we promise it’s going to be even bigger!

Tickets include admission, dinner, adult beverages, live entertainment, a DJ and a boot-stompin’ good party with your favorite people (if they’re not on your baseball team, make sure you invite them!) This event isn’t just for Creeks Baseball Club families! In fact, there’s almost no time for baseball talk so make sure you extend an invitation to everyone you know for a spectacular night of good food, drinks, music and more!

As the primary fundraiser for Creeks Baseball Club, the event will also include a raffle with prizes ranging in value from $250-$PRICELESS$ (WE’RE NOT KIDDING! WE HAVE A HUGE SURPRISE AND YOU WON’T BELIEVE WHAT WE WILL BE RAFFLING OFF THIS YEAR!)

There are some other exciting surprises planned so don’t wait and buy your tickets early! Attire is north of athleisure and south of cocktail, so save your CBC hoodies for Opening Day and pull out your blazers, sweaters, dressy jeans, boots, scarves, and whatever will have you ready to dance, mingle, and enjoy a memorable evening in a magical (and low-country) setting at La Venture Groves off SR 13 overlooking the stunning St. Johns River. Be prepared for chilly weather, too. This event will take place outdoors but surrounded by fire pits and heaters.

While we adore our baseball players and siblings, the Hawk Ball is adults only and will give our baseball community and extended family, neighbors, friends, and sponsors an opportunity to enjoy a night out before we focus our attention on the Spring 2024 Creeks Baseball Club’s Opening Day at Rivertown Saturday, January 27th!

Proceeds from the Hawk Ball support ongoing field maintenance, equipment upgrades, and exciting construction projects in the works. Creeks Baseball Club is a 501(c)3 organization. While Rivertown is part of St. Johns County Parks and Recreation, the county runs 82 parks, many of which are in far worse condition than Rivertown, leaving maintenance and improvement projects at the financial responsibility of CBC. Our Board Members work closely with SJC Parks and Recreation Department to ensure available funds are being utilized in ways that most benefit our club. But with limited county funding, many of these projects fall on Creeks Baseball Club. During 2023, Hawk Ball proceeds helped to provide our players with:

  • New Portable mound
  • New Bases for Field 1, Field 2, Field 3 and Field 4
  • New equipment to help improve our concessions during tournaments
  • New L screens
  • New Nets
  • New Turtle
  • Laser Grading
  • Warning Track
  • Hitting mats
  • Square Screens
  • Shed for equipment storage

Future projects for consideration:

  • Covered cages
  • Working scoreboards (with financial assistance from SJC)
  • Bullpen improvements
  • as well routine, continued maintenance of all four fields

DON’T WAIT – Tickets are currently $100/each but will increase to $125 on January 1st.

We look forward to seeing you all at the HAWK BALL! Tickets are on sale now: http://bidpal.net/cbchawkball2024
