CREEKS BASEBALL CLUB

Creeks Baseball Club is celebrating more than 20 years of being a premier travel baseball program in Northeast Florida.

With a successful track record of developing athletes from ages 7U through 14U, our coaches focus on developing and preparing your child for the next level. Equally as important, our program emphasizes good sportsmanship, character and commitment – skills we know will benefit athletes on and off the field. Creeks Baseball Club Coaches are experienced and trusted coaches, many of which are currently coaching at our area high schools.

RIVERTOWN FIELDS

Rivertown is home of the Creeks Baseball Club Riverhawks! And our organization takes great pride in the exceptional facilities where we practice and host tournaments for teams around the region. Rivertown, conveniently located in Northwest St. Johns County along State Road 13, has four fields including our Stadium Field, a focal point of the park. Our Annual Opening Day of the Fields, which typically takes place at the end of January and kicks off our Spring season brings crowds of more than a thousand parents, grandparents, family, friends and spectators as we showcase not only our teams during our Opening Day Ceremonies and games, but also our home - Rivertown! Creeks Baseball Club also practices at Kehoe Fields, located behind Hickory Creek Elementary School on Greenbrier Road.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

If you're new to Creeks Baseball Club, here are some frequently asked questions...

CBC is celebrating TWENTY YEARS of being Northeast Florida’s Premier Travel Baseball program. We have produced some of Northeast Florida’s most talented and elite baseball players. As our athletes move through our program, the CBC Coaching Staff prepares them for the next level and many move on to play at the collegiate level. We have an extremely talented roster of Coaches, many of CBC’s Coaches also coach at area high schools. We are an organization for players who love the game, are ready for travel baseball and want to advance in their skills while becoming a better athlete on and off the field!

CBC encourages athletes to stay in their appropriate age group. If an athlete is currently playing in their age group but not with their graduating class, we encourage playing up to catch up to their graduating class (since this is how they’ll be classified when they reach high school). All other athletes are discouraged from playing up. If a parent still wants their athlete to play up, the athlete must make the “A team” to be eligible to play at CBC. If a parent wants their athlete to tryout for two age groups, they must pay the registration fee for each age group.

CBC is in a unique situation where we have three Cooperstown tickets for three teams to enjoy this once in a lifetime baseball experience. Tryouts for 12U Cooperstown teams will always be held during our FALL TEAM TRYOUTS. The 12U Cooperstown teams are set in the fall and stay consistent through the spring giving them the continuity as a team and additional time to fundraise as a team. Players that make these teams will be set for 12U Fall/Spring. All other teams (8U, 9U, 10U, 11U, 13U, 14U) are Fall ONLY teams and players will tryout again for Spring teams in November.

CBC encourages athletes to play multiple sports. It makes them an even better athlete. Each CBC Coach manages their team differently but overall, you can expect a two-month season – September and October. Each team will have two practices a week and a light tournament schedule of 2-3 tournaments.

We recognize there are other options. And there’s a place for every athlete! Simply put, we are a TWENTY-YEAR PROGRAM with a proven track record! Some of the area’s most talented coaches (many are high school coaches and athletic director) make up our coaches’ roster.

We are the past, the present and the future of travel baseball in Northeast Florida.
