CBC Teacher Appreciation Night 2026
May 27 | Rivertown Fields
At Creeks Baseball Club, we believe the impact of great mentors extends far beyond the field. On May 27, 2026, we’re proud to host our Teacher Appreciation Night—an evening dedicated to recognizing the educators who shape, support, and inspire the athletes in our community every single day.
This night is about more than baseball. It’s about celebrating the people who invest in our kids when no one is watching—the early mornings, the long days, and the lasting influence they carry into every classroom.
A Special Night at Rivertown Fields
The evening will feature a full slate of games across Rivertown Fields, creating an electric atmosphere as our teams take the field.
Games begin at 5:15 PM, with matchups throughout the night on all fields, leading into a special evening on the Stadium Field.
Teachers in attendance will be recognized and celebrated, and as a small token of appreciation, all teachers will enjoy complimentary concessions during the event
FEATURED GUESTS

🎤 Veronica Fuata
National Anthem Performer
Veronica Fuata will kick off the evening with the singing of the National Anthem. A standout both in the classroom and on stage, she serves as a teacher at Cunningham Creek Elementary and was named Teacher of the Year in 2022.
Her passion for teaching and talent for performing make her the perfect voice to open such a meaningful night.

⚾ L’Erin Standley
Ceremonial First Pitch
L’Erin Standley, 2025 Teacher of the Year at Hickory Creek Elementary, will take the mound for the ceremonial first pitch.
In her sixth year as a lead teacher and with the district since 2017, L’Erin has made a lasting impact not only in education but also in the community. She was recognized as Rookie Teacher of the Year (2021) and has continued to lead with excellence, including launching a Best Buddies chapter at her school.
Her dedication to students and leadership both in and out of the classroom make her an incredible representative of what this night is all about.
More Than a Game
Teacher Appreciation Night is a reminder that the lessons learned off the field are just as important as the ones learned on it. The discipline, confidence, and character we strive to build in our players are reinforced every day by the educators in their lives.
This night is our way of saying thank you.

Moments from Last Year
There’s something special about looking back at the moments that made this night unforgettable.
From the first pitch to the final inning, last year’s Teacher Appreciation Night was filled with energy, gratitude, and a whole lot of smiles. Teachers were recognized on the field, families showed up in full support, and our players got the chance to celebrate the people who impact them most off the diamond.
Take a look back at some of our favorite moments:
